The Buckle, Inc. Reports September 2011 Net Sales

The Buckle, Inc. announced today that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the five-week period ended October 1, 2011 increased 10.3 percent from comparable store net sales for the five-week period ended October 2, 2010. Net sales for the five-week fiscal month ended October 1, 2011 increased 13.0 percent to $98.4 million from net sales of $87.1 million for the prior year five-week fiscal month ended October 2, 2010.

Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 35-week period ended October 1, 2011 increased 8.7 percent from comparable store net sales for the 35-week period ended October 2, 2010. Net sales for the 35-week fiscal period ended October 1, 2011 increased 12.2 percent to $646.2 million from net sales of $575.7 million for the prior year 35-week fiscal period ended October 2, 2010.
