If you love a pair of knee-high boots, but you can never do the zips up, as you calves are quite muscly. What to do, does anyone sell boots for the wider calf, and what styles should you try..You should go for good-quality boots made from thin leather, as they will mould around your calf, giving a snug fit, and will stretch more easily than cheaper boots made from thicker leather or PVC.
Alternatively, buy boots with elasticated panels on the inside of the leg. Try the more exclusive stores in your area, they have likely a larger collection.
One the other side, it's also hard finding boots to fit slim legs. All the ones we looked at will gape at the top and make you look as if you're wearing wllingtons. So what can you do to make your calves and your legs look fuller.
The best styles for you would be loose-fitting ones or those with ruched fronts. The ruched detail on these boots gives the illusion that your legs are bigger then they are. Slouchy styles are also good for you, as they are not meant to fit tight on the leg. And finally, if you've found a pair of boots that fit you! They look great with tucked-in jeans.
